Anmeldelse. Da Berlin faldt i 1945 blev byen overtaget af den røde hær. Da sejren var i hus gik den sejrende hær amok i fest, alkohol og voldtægt af kvinder. Skrigene fra kvinderne kunne høres om natten fordi alle vinduer i byen var knust. De store hospitaler i Berlin anslår, at op til 130.000 kvinder blev vold [ ... ]

Røde Kors museet i Friedenau

Røde Kors kender alle i hele verden. Den neutrale hjælpe organisation, som har fokus på mennesket og hjælper upartisk. I Berlin er der et lille museum for Røde Kors. Museet viser historien om Røde Kors fra 1863 og til i dag – og om, hvordan Røde Kors var delt under den kolde krig.

Tegneren Zille, kendt som penselhenrich, døde i 1929, men er stadig allestedsnærværende i Berlin. Gamle kneiper måles i, om Zille nu var stamgæst her. Zille satte billeder på Berlin før og efter 1. verdenskrig.

Anders Rydell: Bogtyvene

Anmeldelse. Nazisterne plyndrede tusinder af biblioteker og stjal millioner af bøger over hele Europa i løbet af Anden Verdenskrig. SS-lederen Heinrich Himmler og nazi-ideologen Alfred Rosenberg konkurrerede om at underlægge sig Europas litterære arv. Historien er beskrevet i bogen Bogtyvene af svenskeren Anders Rydell.
